In this edition of ‘Spotlight on Schools’, Hee-Jung Lee, a Korean teacher at Ardscoil Rís, demonstrates her approach to creating authentic and cross-curricular learning experiences in a Transition Year.

The project drew on students’ target language skills and their pluricultural competence through a simulated first-person immersive experience. It also deepened students’ understanding of the current geo-political status of the Korean peninsula.
