IFI@Schools is a brand new streaming platform, bringing some of the finest Irish and international cinema directly to your classroom.
Building on the success of the IFI Schools cinema programme, IFI@Schools offers film education in an accessible and virtual way. It offers a collection of films curated to support subject teaching and to be relevant and enjoyable for young people. Resources to accompany the films have been created by relevant cultural services.
Operating on one single sign up for a school, IFI@Schools allows for ease of integration, with individual teachers able to manage their own accounts. While the cinema visit remains at the heart of the schools programme at IFI, this platform enables schools across the country to access new film content, at whatever time suits the lesson, without the need for a trip outside.
Bonus features such as film introductions and director Q&As ensure that, although we miss the live cinema experience, the in-school screening can be stimulating and engaging for your students. IFI@Schools is film education, the smarter way.
