Alan joined PPLI in August 2022 as an Education Officer in a full-time capacity. His background includes studies in both languages and educational leadership and management in universities in Ireland, Norway, Reunion Island and Belgium.

He has worked as a language teacher for more than a decade in County Meath, and has years of experience as a school inspector with the Department of Education. He is currently seconded from his position as a Deputy Principal in County Kildare.
