Following the publication of the Framework for a redeveloped Primary School Curriculum, the Department of Education has launched a pilot modelling various routes for the language upskilling of primary school teachers. This is a great opportunity to assist in the redeveloped Primary Curriculum Framework.
We are seeking to employ tutors to design and deliver language upskilling courses for primary school teachers. Recruitment of suitable Spanish and German tutors has now begun. The opportunity is available to Primary, Post Primary and Further Education Teachers.
Once designed, the Spanish course will be delivered by the successful applicant in Kildare Education Support Centre. The German course will be delivered in Dublin West Education Support Centre.
– Successful applicants commit to working with PPLI Education Officers for the design and review of the course.
– Tutors also commit to collaborate with each other in both the design and delivery of the course.
– Tutors will have some flexibility in deciding the structure of the course.
– Tutors will be employed by Dublin West Education Support Centre and Kildare Education Support Centre.
– Tutor payment will cover course design and delivery.
– The content of the course will be owned by PPLI on behalf of the Department of Education.
