Post Primary Languages Ireland (PPLI) / Languages Connect is inviting research proposals for an independent impact evaluation of #ThinkLanguages Week.

#ThinkLanguages is a flagship nationwide event for Transition Year students. It aims to raise interest in language learning and promote intercultural awareness. PPLI is seeking to further explore the impact of #ThinkLanguages and inform its future development. The evaluation will also provide evidence to support the development of the next national strategy for languages in education. The successful research team will work collaboratively with PPLI to inform the collection of relevant data and will undertake independent analysis and evaluation of the evidence generated.

Funding of up to €15,000 is available for one project. The Principal Investigator must be based at a Higher Education Institution in Ireland.
