Clare joined PPLI in September 2026 as an Education Officer on the Primary team. Clare has a strong passion for languages and extensive experience in language education. She holds a BA in International Arts with French from UCD and a Higher Diploma in Education from Hibernia College.

Clare has taught French to primary school pupils for 17 years, most recently through the Say Yes to Languages programme. She is passionate about language learning and helping pupils and teachers build their language skills, cultural awareness and confidence. She is particularly interested in plurilingual approaches that value and build on learners’ existing languages and skills.

Clare is currently on secondment from her teaching position at a school in Dublin.
