Aoife joined PPLI in July 2024. Her work focuses on supporting #ThinkLanguages.

Aoife studied French and Spanish at the University of Limerick. She completed a work placement in a language school near Cádiz, Spain, during her third year of studies, and also worked for a year as an English tutor at the Université d’Artois in the north of France.

She appreciates the access given by any knowledge in a language to new music, literature and perspectives, and the friends and connections that follow from this. She also enjoys discovering cultural events, such as Carnival, and the ferias in Spain, both because of how enjoyable they are, and how they have helped her to better her knowledge of the culture.
